SeaMotion

Caroline Langdon and Mike Shepherd, owners of SeaMotion, a recently set up Powerboat and Scuba Diving centre in Portree on the Isle of Skye asked if I would be able to set up a website for their business and crucially also a booking system that would allow them to be taking online bookings as soon as they start running courses making it easy for people to discover and book onto them.

The site is based upon Wordpress, and the booking system on Team Bookings. These were chosen as Wordpress is simple, fairly quick to set up a good looking site, allowed a great deal of customisability by SeaMotion staff without having to deal with code, and has a large variety of Booking Systems available. Team Bookings was ideal as many booking systems do not handle multi-day courses well, however as Team Bookings inputs events from Google Calendar it does very well.

The site went live at the end of August 2017.
